Our association was involved in rescuing a puppy right after TurdaNews published an article about the unimaginable cruelty that animal was treated.
On the 9th of December 2014, Vasile Corşeu, which has a property in the hamlet Petrilaca, near Campia Turzii, was presented to the veterinarian with an abused pregnant female. It accused her neighbors, some shepherds, that mistreated dogs. According to his declarations, already the third dog that he has been subjected to this "treatment", after one of them was killed earlier this year, and the second on November 13. Man fears for his life because deduced that neighbors have entered the yard, mistreat the animal being tied there.
Vasile Corşeu was allegedly made complaints to the police, but nobody took action. Also, it accused the police chief in Turda, Valer Moldovan, not dealing with his complaints as it should because it relative to its neighbor in Petrilaca: "In vain I did complain that nobody does anything! In this country there are no institutions, there is nothing? Come into my yard and kill my dog ?! Look what they did! They are animals, not poor dog, which was tied chain and could not defend or flee their attack. What to do? I start to do my own hands if the police do nothing? "
Set in a terrible state, his skull crushed, poked with sharp and full of mud and blood, a dog was saved with the financial support of the Association R.E.A.D.C. and our partners German Association e.V. TASSO Germany.
"I took the dog to the Veterinary Faculty in Cluj-Napoca, to be operated. I was made cesarean, but unfortunately all chickens were dead. The dog is now well, the owner is home and has recovered very nicely. I put to the owner of our lawyers in Bucharest to advance the process. ", Said Iulia Iozsa, CEO R.E.A.D.C.
Representatives of our association visited the owner to inquire about developments in the health of the dog and to verify and ensure conditions for a dog kept in the yard: shelter that would protect her from the cold and moisture and to ensure sufficient space for rest , food and water available and collar wide enough not to cause irritation. We were glad to see that was completely recovered and is well cared for by its owner who loves and give sufficient attention a pet.
