Salvamont Centre of Belis saves two puppies - taken from Turda News

Doru Iuga from The Salvamont Rescue Center in Belis became a lifeguard with his admirable gesture of saving two abandoned puppies, aged just six weeks, from the waters of Lake Belis-Fantanele. The man has seen them struggling to survive and moved with compassion gave them another chance at life.
The puppies named Fântânica and Becky, are now in the care of R.E.A.D.C. team and are provided with all the care and love they need after such a traumatic experience. Fântânica is now our mascot and Becky became our partners’ mascot, Tasso e.V. Germany.
Usually the main objectives of Rescue Centre in Beliș are preventing mountain accidents, preventive patrol, rescuing injured and sick people in the area and, more recently, saving endangered animals.
