A new abuse in the detriment of domestic carnations owners on the Court of Appeal’s table
Monday, 5th of March 2018, our association, as complainant, invites you at the Court of Appeal Cluj, room 38, where it will take place the process against The National Sanitary-Veterinary and for Food Safety Authority regarding the wrong microchip (transponder) code structure.
Being an animals protection association designed to support both animals and their owners, we consider that is our duty to draw the attention whenever the national authorities do not comply the legislation or when this is contrary to the international standards. Currently, according to the A.N.S.V.S.A. 1/2014 Order, the transponder’s code structure is set in contradiction with the international standards (ISO 11784, which refers to the uniqueness of the code and traceability- tracking the route traveled from the manufacturer to the exporter or to the future owner of the animal).
The actual structure of the transponder code restricts the registration safety and the correct animals evidence at national and international level, increasing the chance for animals to remain without a legal identification number or this to be produced in double series.
Even this non-compliant technical norm has been personally appealed by us, in 2014, in audience to A.N.S.V.S.A., and since then they have been refusing any meeting with the civil society, that is, with our association, making another abuse according to 26/2000 Ordinance regarding the collaboration of the institutions with N.G.O.s, in the group or national interest, to the benefit of 9 million domestic carnations (dogs and cats) owners.
Our association invites, therefore, at the mentioned date, the interested associations, mass-media entities and all responsible animals lovers who want to get involved and support us once again.
