who fought for animal rights, their protection citizen information.
This meeting was a real "Oscar of animal protection," and an important step towards an international connection. Marin Bleidner, initiator of this project, believes that animal rights legislation is a new area, but absolutely necessary, that is sketched on the horizon.
On behalf of Tasso e.V. also spake Ms. Petra Zipp, who has won the respect of Romanian citizens in many actions of help in the protection of animals, being involved for many years with projects in Romania.
The guests discussed the legislation in this area and the necessity for the exchange of information between the jurists in the country and those of the EU, as a necessary stage of Romania's integration in the European structures and the right to update the legislation in this field.

Faculty of Law students, lawyers, and many activists have spoken, explaining the importance of and the need to protect those who cannot do it themselves.
"Animal Right" is a new area in the young democracy in Romania and, like any new thing, it causes fears, reticences, so it should be explained, cultivated, to reach the level of acceptability and Western culture in the field of animal protection. Speakers have brought into question the need to initiate more legal efforts at the country level, in order to penalize cruelties towards animals and huge frauds in the State structures with responsibilities in the field, to have several specialists (lawyers and jurists) join us, to each have more courage to join the "rough nucleus" of animal protection.
During the meeting prizes and diplomas have been awarded to those who were involved in the legislative field or have engaged in a supported activity of animal pșrotection, and vouchers for animal feed.have been offered.
In reverence and gratitude for their years of hard work and voluntary sacrifice, the following organizations and individuals have been nominated:
- "The Electronic Register of Domestic Animals and Pets" from Turda, which became famous by developing a project in the town of Câmpia Turzii, which has made this town the first in Romania with the whole canine population with owners, chipped, equipped with reflective plate and recorded in a unique database, free of charge. Under this programme, a permanent call center was made available to the general public, with the goal of recovering lost animals or of the identification of people who abandon their pets in order to punish them, according to law. As a result of this initiative, the abandonment in Câmpia Turzii, in 2014, dropped up to 0.6%, compared to the previous period. At the same time, a campaign to inform the population on the obligations incumbent upon keepers of animals was held, considering that informing the population belongs to the strategy's success.
-"Alliance for Combating Abuses" in Brașov, for active participation in and control of sterilization approaches concerning the abandonment of dogs, which formed the basis of the norms of law-258/2013, and for the many lawsuits against the State, the majority won, as well as for direct contribution to legal action by suspending them.

Students at the University of law, our hosts, they were invited to become volunteers initially and, later, to join us in our efforts on the line, and in collaboration with lawyers in Europe.
These awards have been a signal for outstanding efforts in tribute to the protection of animals and, in particular, legal cooperation at european level.
In Romania, however, the number of people who should receive awards for legal involvement and all that means for the protection of farm animals, giant. Hopefully in more unity and reconciliation efforts at the national level, and our meeting to set up a fruitful cooperation with colleagues and authorities from across the country and abroad.
