R.E.A.D.C. together with various NGOs and activists for the protection of animals, the environment and civil rights, organizes on 09.11.2019, at 10.00 am, at the Trianon Hotel, Bucharest, the conference to open the Romanian Legal Office for the protection of animals and the environment.
The open of the office aims to provide legal assistance to NGOs for the protection of animals, activists and animal owners in conflict with the responsible authorities in this field.
All those who are prejudiced in the constitutional rights through abuses by the competent authorities and do not have the legal experience and resources necessary, can call the Romanian Legal Office for the protection of animals and the environment free of charge.
The purpose of the Office is to provide all citizens with access to the collection of laws that apply to them and the pets owned by them and which must be respected by the authorities.
We seek in this way the correct information of the citizens, guaranteed in the constitution, the guidance of the associations and at the same time the awareness of the responsible authorities, by engaging in actions to support the public health and safety of the animal welfare, thus removing the abuses of the system.
Another major objective of this initiative is to mediate the collaboration between the animal protection associations and the local authorities, in order to reduce the animal abandonment, to apply the sanitary-veterinary obligations signed by Romania upon accession to the EU and to combat the fictitious ecarization paid by the taxpayers.
We want to monitor the compulsory and subsidized national programs from the budget of the country and the EU, on combating communicable diseases from animal to human, which are applied only partially and at a cost in the country, such as Rabia.
Citizen-animal-environment cohabitation is a necessity in modern society!
The Legal Office will be made up of lawyers and advisers, while also collaborating with NGOs and volunteer activists in the territories.
Consultants in the field of EU animal protection law and experts with 40 years of experience in animal monitoring, Tasso e.V, Germany are our special guests, whom we would like to thank for their involvement and support for all projects in Romania.
We invite all persons who have qualification and expertise for voluntary and lasting involvement in the noble interest of civic solidarity.
