The Court of Appeal Cluj has debated a new abuse on the domestic carnations owners

The Court of Appeal Cluj has debated a new abuse on the domestic carnations owners

Yesterday, 5th of March 2018, at the Court of Appeal Cluj has been debated the problem of the wrong microchip (transponder) code structure, within the process filed by our association against A.N.S.V.S.A.

The Romanian authorities have been informed of the incorrect application of the technical rules for the microchip code implementation, but these complaints were ignored.

We hope that after yesterday’s debates, the Court of Appeal’s President will understand the principles underpinning the development of this code: transparency and traceability, and will make a favorable decision in the correct identification of the animals. Currently, according to the 1/2014 ANSVSA Order, the transponder’s code structure is set in contradiction with the international standards (ISO 11784).

The problem of the transponder’s code structure in Romania was supported within the process by the German expert, invited by our association, Dr. Med. Vet. Sven Hüther, ISO representative.

Our association has fought and will continue to fight against the abuses in the sanitary-veterinary system which hinder the public health and animals’ well-being.

TVR Cluj made a short reportage regarding this issue, which can be watched by accessing the link bellow:
